I fucking HATE being sick! I hate doctors. I hate needles. I hate hospitals. And I FUCKING hate cranberry juice cocktail in lunchbox sized plastic juice packs!! You all better put out some decent blog material in the next day or so or I'm going to die of fucking boredom. That is all.

  2. You know what else is weird though? If there hadn't been a storm and I'd gone up to Boston, one of two far worse scenarios would have unfolded: 1) I would have ignored the pain I was feeling until I got back to DC, which would have created a potentially life threatening condition instead of just a serious but treatable one, or 2) I would have gone to the ER in Boston and gotten stuck up there for days.

    It's just another example of how my life over the last several months or so has been utterly driven by the force of serendipity. I guess I should be glad for that.
